Also known as the purple coneflower, this bright bloom is both hardy and attractive. Popular for its medicinal properties, echinacea resists drought, tolerates heat, and promises to draw butterflies to your garden. Its dried cone heads make nutritious birdseed, too!

  • Germination: 10-15 Days
  • Bloom time: Summer
  • Start indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Lightly cover seeds and expose to light. Transplant into larger containers after true leaves appear. After last frost, harden off and transplant to garden in late spring. Direct seeding is not recommended.
