Description
Michel Germain extends the Deauville name into a considerably more floral direction here than its coastal-themed original release. Bergamot, pear and nectarine open with a soft, fruity freshness that eases gently into the florals ahead. Jasmine sambac, rose and lily of the valley build a full, classic floral middle that shifts the fragrance toward something considerably more romantic. Cedarwood, sandalwood and musk close things out warm and smooth, giving Deauville L'Air De Vivre Eau de Parfum a comforting, grounded finish. Floral fruity is the fitting classification, light enough for daytime wear yet substantial enough to carry into evening without feeling out of place. It suits casual outings, dates and relaxed dinners about equally well. Spring and summer favor the fruity top most, though the sandalwood close keeps it wearable into cooler months too. This reads as the softer, more traditionally floral sibling to the beachier original Deauville release.
