Dahlia Dark Spirit

Dahlia Dark Spirit is a captivating Ball dahlia that enchants with its deep burgundy, nearly black blooms. Measuring approximately 2.5 inches in diameter, these perfectly round flowers stand out against their dark green foliage. Reaching a height of about 35-40 inches, 'Dark Spirit' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Plant the tubers in spring after the last frost, spacing them 12-18 inches apart, and water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Deadheading spent flowers encourages continuous blooming from midsummer until the first frost. This variety is excellent for adding dramatic color to garden borders, containers, and as a striking cut flower.
