Description
In our opinion, these are among the most beautiful and striking perennial border plant and they’re also incredibly easy to grow! These herbaceous plants die back completely in winter, but come spring, delicate, lacy foliage emerges, forming lovely grey-green clumps. From late May through July, they’re crowned with distinctive, bonnet-shaped flowers in a stunning array of colors. Planted en masse at the front of a border, they create a charming display, gently ‘nodding’ on breezy days. Recommended by the RHS, these blooms are an excellent source of nectar, attracting bees and other beneficial insects to your garden.
