Cold Frame

Extend the growing and harvesting season and nurture seedlings with a Cold Frame. Our durable, well-crafted model is made of Nordic Pine or Spruce wood topped with a ridged, weather- and shatter-resistant, polycarbonate panel “window” to allow in sunlight but keep out the cold. The hinged top opens fully or can be propped in a partially open position to promote air circulation for burgeoning crops on warmer days. Use the cold frame for seed-starting and growing crops of edibles including salad greens, especially in the shoulder seasons. The wooden frame is pressure-treated to prevent rot and decay. Assembly required.
