About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash colour variation, or worn surface treatments. Distressed finishes mimic natural age, frequently using overdyeing techniques that leave ghost traces of original patterns visible beneath a saturated wash. Medallion motifs serve as a hallmark of classical Anatolian design, anchoring the composition with a central geometric form framed by a distinct border.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie completely flat, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, and kitchens. Its profile is compatible with underfloor heating and is suitable for layering over larger rugs.
