Cherokee Wax Bean

Cherokee Wax Bean is a striking heirloom variety that turns heads in the garden and on the plate. The plants produce beautiful, bright yellow pods that measure 5–6" long with a satisfying round shape — a vivid contrast to the deep black seeds tucked inside. What sets Cherokee Wax apart is its completely stringless pods at every stage of harvest, so you can pick early or late without sacrificing tenderness. The flavor is clean and classic, making these beans equally delicious eaten fresh off the vine, pressure-canned for the pantry, or blanched and frozen for year-round enjoyment. Whether you're growing for the backyard garden or a small-scale market, Cherokee Wax Bean delivers reliable beauty and versatility in every harvest.
