Description
The Charlotte 48 in. W x 22 in. D single sink is the size most primary baths land on: one basin, but enough surrounding counter to actually put things down. The cabinet is solid white oak, cut in the line's slim shaker style, and finished with brushed-gold pulls that catch against the pale grain.
Design and construction
Across 48 inches the shaker fronts stay narrow-framed and flat-panelled, which keeps a wide cabinet from looking heavy. Construction is solid white oak from FSC-certified stock rather than MDF or particleboard, so the piece can be sanded and refinished years from now instead of being replaced. Drawer boxes are dovetailed at every corner and run on soft-close hardware that stops the front short of a slam.
Countertop and finish
Top options are quartz, marble, quartzite and terrazzo, each cut to the 48-inch cabinet and finished with a mitered or cove edge. A matching backsplash is available in the same material. The undermount basin is set during installation rather than fixed in the factory, and the countertop ships in its own protective box, packed apart from the cabinet.
