Description
This Charlotte measures 36 in. W x 22 in. D and sets the sink to the left, which leaves one uninterrupted run of countertop on the right for a tray, a lamp or folded towels. The cabinet is solid white oak, cut in the line's slim shaker style, with brushed-gold pulls picking up the warmth of the grain.
Design and construction
The offset layout shifts plumbing to one side, so storage on the opposite side stays deep and usable rather than notched around a trap. Fronts carry the narrow-stile shaker frame that defines the Charlotte line. Cabinet stock is solid white oak from FSC-certified sources, not MDF or particleboard, and the finish is kept thin so the figure of the oak still shows. Drawers are dovetailed and glide on soft-close hardware.
Countertop and finish
Pick a quartz, marble, quartzite or terrazzo top, cut for the left offset opening and edged either mitered or cove. A backsplash in the matching slab is available. Your installer sets the undermount basin on site, and the countertop arrives in its own protective box so the finished stone edge is not riding against the cabinet in transit.
