Caissa is a sweet, floral, gourmand scent created for Men and Women in 2022 by perfumer David Apel.

Review

This scent is light and sweet, like the whimsical feeling of Love. Lush flowers surround Gourmand essences that are warmed with Musk and Amber and wrap around your senses like an intimate hug. This scent is safe for the office, but is best suited for casual and romantic moments. It can be worn in any season, but will work best in the Spring and Summer. It is comparable to Ramon Monegal’s Lovely Day.

Inspiration

Caissa is known as the Goddess of Chess, a game created for Caissa by Euphron(God of Sport) at the behest of Mars(God of War) in an effort to win her favor. This scent represents the lengths one will go to for love, and is filled with romantic florals and sweet essences.

Notes

Black Licorice comes in to play first, becoming delicate within a Fougassette Accord and Cardamom. A floral heart blooms with Tuberose, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine and Gardenia, warmed with a subtle, seductive touch of Musk. Cocoa Bean and Amber add a soft sweetness and warm that plays on the sweeter essences of this intoxicating scent.
