About This Style

Vintage rugs are curated to reflect an aged aesthetic, often utilising faded tones, abrash colour variations, and surface treatments that recall mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving traditions. Distressed rugs feature intentional wear, such as erased pile or overdyed finishes, which reveal ghost-patterns of the original design beneath the surface. Medallion rugs are defined by a central circular, oval, or diamond-shaped motif, typically rendered in geometric forms characteristic of historical Turkish carpet design.

Where It Works

The flatweave construction allows this rug to lie flush against the floor, making it highly functional for high-traffic areas, hallways, and kitchens. Its slim profile is compatible with underfloor heating systems and is ideal for layering over larger carpets.
