Description
Our Bouquets For Days Perennial Wildflower Seed Collection features some our bestselling perennial wildflowers, famous for their picture-perfect blooms. Perennial wildflowers will grow foliage and roots in the first year, they will start to bloom in the second or third year, and return for years to come. These flowers will naturalize and spread over time, giving you even more blooms to work with each season. Perennial Lupines, Shasta Daisies, Blanket Flowers, and Black Eyed Susans attract butterflies, bees, and birds.
This collection is a great complement to our Bouquets For Days Annual Wildflower Seed Collection and our Bouquets For Days Wildflower Seed Mix.
Our Bouquets For Days Perennial Wildflower Seed Collection includes the following seeds:
| Name | Quantity | Life Cycle | Bloom Time | Native To | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shasta Daisy Seeds | 1 x 1/4 LB | Perennial | Summer | Spain and Portugal | |
| Blanket Flower Seeds | 1 x 1/4 LB | Perennial | Summer | North American plains | |
| Perennial Lupine Seeds | 1 x 1/4 LB | Perennial | Spring to summer | Most of the US and Canada east of the Mississippi | |
| Black Eyed Susan Seeds | 1 x 1/4 LB | Perennial | Summer to fall | North America |
A note on Lupinus perennis (wild lupine): This species is the sole larval host plant for the Karner Blue Butterfly, a federally endangered species with remaining populations in New Hampshire, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Because our seed is produced through open pollination, even with industry-standard best practices we cannot fully rule out that some cross-pollination with other lupine varieties may occasionally occur.
To help protect Karner Blue Butterfly habitat, we do not recommend planting Perennial Lupine from seed in the following active recovery states: NY, NH, IN, IL, OH, MN, WI, MI or Ontario, Canada.
