It is water-resistant and crushable, and it floats, with a chin cord and an inner pocket. It has an organic cotton sweatband. It comes in an organic cotton storage pouch with care instructions.

The Boat Yard Outdoor Fedora is made from recycled plastic bottles and features an inner pocket with a floating device so if it goes over board, you can still retrieve your hat! Has a cotton chin cord, mesh ventilation and anti glare under the brim.
