Blush Pink Nandina

The Blush Pink™ Nandina (Nandina domestica ‘Blush Pink’) is a vibrant, compact evergreen shrub that delivers ever-changing color and effortless structure to the landscape. Often referred to as a refined form of heavenly bamboo, this improved selection stands out for its rich pink new growth, tidy habit, and non-invasive nature—making it a modern favorite among gardeners.

In spring, fresh foliage emerges in soft pink to rosy red tones, giving the blush pink nandina its signature look. As the season progresses, the leaves mature to a cool green before transitioning again in fall and winter to deeper shades of red and crimson. This continuous color shift makes the nandina blush pink shrub a dynamic focal point that evolves beautifully throughout the year.

Unlike older nandina varieties that can become leggy or spread aggressively, pink blush nandina maintains a dense, mounding form without the need for constant pruning. With a mature blush pink nandina size of approximately 1.5 to 2 feet tall and wide, it is an ideal dwarf nandina bush for foundation plantings, borders, and containers.

Whether used as a low hedge, planted in masses for color impact, or paired with other evergreens for contrast, this versatile nandina shrub adds year-round interest with minimal maintenance. For gardeners comparing nandina blush pink vs firepower, Blush Pink offers a softer, more pastel-toned palette while maintaining the same compact and reliable growth habit.
