Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip

If you want a taller, more upright look, stake the central leader when the tree is young and gently tie it as it grows. This encourages a strong vertical line while the side branches keep their signature drape. Plant in full sun for the best blue color, and prioritize well-drained soil to keep roots happy. Keep a clean mulched ring around the base to protect moisture levels and highlight the form. This is a tree that does not need much pruning, just occasional shaping to guide the silhouette you want. Think of it like styling hair, not giving a haircut.
