Plant Big Beauty in a row to create a broad, rounded Gardenia hedge with fragrant white flowers and evergreen structure. Unlike compact Gardenias used along low borders, Big Beauty has enough mature size to define a property edge, soften a fence or create separation between landscape areas.

Its natural form creates a fuller, less rigid hedge when allowed to grow with light shaping. More regular pruning can produce a tidier outline, but the mature 6–7-foot scale should still guide placement.

Foundation Planting

Big Beauty works well where a foundation needs a substantial shrub rather than a low accent. Use it near a blank wall, at the corner of a house or toward the back of a deep foundation bed.
