Scent Description

I created this scent to be intentional and a gentle reminder that better days are ahead. 

Life can feel heavy sometimes. Overwhelming. Loud. And there are moments when you need that reminder & a little boost of energy... a little pick-me-up to refresh you.

 

It opens bright and hopeful - sparkling nectar and sunlit citrus create an uplifting start. Yuzu zest adds a crisp brightness that wakes everything up. Then it softens. Apple blossom and fig leaf bring a gentle, grounded sweetness, while hints of wild mint keeps it fresh and airy. As it settles, cashmere musk, warm amber, and hinoki woods wrap around you to give you a little hug.

The beauty of Better Days is that it's yours to interpret. You don't have to carry the same intention it was created with - you can position it however it serves your brand and your customers best. Wellness-focused self-care. Mood-boosting everyday luxury. Fresh & optimistic.

Typical usage rates are much lower than these values. It is up to you to determine how much % will be needed for your specific product through your own testing process. 

Candle Testing Notes 

Tested at 8% FO load, in Golden Wax 464. Test burned in a 60 sq ft space with an 8 oz candle for 3 hours. We recommend starting for candle testing at around 8% FO load and adjusting from here however, please look at your specific wax to see their recommendations and test.

 

Cold Throw Notes: Moderate/Strong

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at 5% FO load with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil. 

 

Acceleration: Slight | Ricing: None |  Discoloration: Brown | Trace: Normal  |  Scent Retention: Strong

Design Notes: Recommend adding color prior to FO. Titanium dioxide can be used to offset brown discoloration (important to remember that titanium dioxide tends to accelerate trace). Great for layered or solid color designs.
