Storage can be added to a twin-over-full bunk without giving up the space-saving advantage of an end ladder. This white configuration pairs a twin upper bunk with a full-size lower bed and adds two free-rolling drawers beneath the lower bunk for bedding, clothing, toys, or other essentials. The four-step ladder stays at the end of the frame and can be positioned at either end toward the front or back, while the complete bed remains about 20" shorter than the comparable stairway version.

Made from solid Brazilian pine with no particleboard, the main bunk can later be separated into one twin bed and one full-size bed. The two under-bed drawers remain easy to reach from the open front of the bed without adding another dresser-sized footprint.
