Basic Square Vent, Aspen | Harvia

The best sauna sessions end quietly — heat fading, wood cooling, the room finally breathing after you step out. The Harvia Basic Square Vent in aspen is the piece that manages that last part. It mounts over your sauna's exhaust vent opening and slides to control airflow through every stage: closed while the room heats, cracked open once you're settled on the bench, and fully open after your last round to dry the structure properly. Aspen is a different choice from cedar or pine for a reason — it carries almost no resin and no strong scent, so it stays neutral in a room where you're already adding fragrance or löyly water. The pale, near-white grain sits quietly against light wood interiors without competing, and the smooth, knot-free surface stays cool enough to handle even when the room is running hot. A clean finish for a room that deserves one.
