Ball Dahlia Bolt

If ball dahlias are the darlings of the summer season, the Bolt variety brings a unique colorway to the front of the border. Compact, rounded blooms open to a pastel yellow and gradually shift to blush and creamy white. Bolt’s wondrous color varies with heat and timing, typically showing its brightest pink at the petal tips. Maxing out at roughly 20" tall, Bolt is a favorite filler for fresh-cut bouquets. Grow in full sun from midsummer through the first frost.
