Azoxystrobin 2SC Select Fungicide - Liquid Alternative to Scotts DiseaseEx

Protect your lawn from common fungal diseases with Azoxystrobin (Azoxy) 2SC Select Fungicide. This professional-strength, systemic liquid fungicide contains 22.9% azoxystrobin, the same active ingredient found in Scotts DiseaseEx, in a concentrated suspension formulation.

Azoxystrobin 2SC helps protect turf from both soil-borne and foliar fungal diseases. It can be used as a preventative or curative fungicide for labeled diseases, including brown patch, large patch, and leaf spot.

The “SC” in Azoxy 2SC stands for suspension concentrate. The concentrated product is mixed with water and applied evenly over the lawn using a precise pump or battery-powered sprayer. It provides a liquid alternative to granular azoxystrobin products such as Scotts DiseaseEx.

Lawn Disease Management

Lawn diseases can affect any grass type, especially when weather conditions create prolonged heat, humidity, moisture, or poor airflow. A complete disease management program may include preventative applications, proper watering, mowing, fertility, and fungicide rotation.

Yard Mastery’s “bulletproof strategy” uses two fungicides with different modes of action: azoxystrobin and propiconazole. Using fungicides with different modes of action as part of a labeled rotation can help improve disease management and reduce the risk of fungicide resistance.

Azoxystrobin is useful for brown patch, large patch, and leaf spot. However, Azoxystrobin is not recommended for dollar spot. If dollar spot is your target disease, Propiconazole is the better choice. Always identify the disease and follow the current product label before applying any fungicide.

Approved Turf Types

Azoxystrobin 2SC can be used on the following labeled cool-season and warm-season turfgrasses:

  • Cool-Season Lawns: Kentucky bluegrass, Turf-Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass
  • Warm-Season Lawns: Bermuda, Zoysia, Bahia, St. Augustine, Centipede, Zoysia
