Description
Note: Ranunculus ship starting in late September to late October based on availability and your zone, unlike other products.
This creamy white ranunculus opens to reveal ruffled petals of 4-5” in width. Each Aviv White corm will produce 5-10 long, 12-16” stems of blooms with a gentle fragrance that are perfect for arrangements. This variety is deer resistant and does well in beds, borders, or pots. It blooms in late spring for zones 8–11 to early summer for zones 4–7. In zones 8–11 it grows as a perennial, while in zones 4–7, corms should be lifted, dried, and replanted each spring.
Aviv White is sold in packs of 10.
Planting Instructions:
Plant Ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-11 for spring blooms. In zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for early summer blooms.
-
Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking.
-
Choose an area with full sun for planting.
-
Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil.
-
Plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil.
-
Water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
