--ARBEQUINA--

  • Our Best Selling Olive Tree!
  • Arbequina Olive trees produce rich, buttery fruit- perfect for both home and artisan oil makers alike.
  • Olive variety from Catalonia Spain.
  • The highly aromatic fruit begins green and ripens into a brown bushed or fully brown color.
  • Expect high yields of mild oil and heavy productivity.
  • Height at maturity: 15'-20' in the ground, but can be kept smaller with pruning or if kept in containers
  • Very compact rounded tree, often with a weeping canopy, creating an elegant, shrub-like appearance, good for intensive planting and small spaces.
  • Arbequina Olives are self-fruitful and do not require pollination but having another variety nearby will increase yield.
  • Pollinator: Koroneiki
  • Hardy to 12 F
  • Best for Zones 8-10
  • For Zones 4-7, you can grow this tree in a pot and bring it indoors for the winter

--TREE SIZES--

  • Entry Size Trees:  These trees, measured from the top of the root ball, are 12"-24" tall. Approximately 1 year old.
  • Primo Size Trees: Tree height ranges from 18"-36" tall and the trees are grown in a 5"x5"x12" tree pot and are 2-3 years old. Primo Size trees have been grown to maximize their success and meet the demand of our growers. We grow primo size trees until they reach heights of 18”-36” tall and will ship in a new compact box.  Primo Size trees are pruned with intention to get you a beautifully developed canopy with proper branching starting at or above the 18” mark.
  • Within a month of delivery, we suggest repotting into a larger (10-12" diameter) container.
  • Premium Size Trees: These trees are roughly 4 years old and 3 to 4 feet tall, come in a #5 container. They are well-developed, with a strong canopy and healthy branches, making them ready for immediate impact in your garden. For best results, plant in well-draining soil and provide full sun and regular care.
