Description

Your Smith Machine has been holding out on you.

One bar. One path. Both arms locked to the same line, which is great until your stronger side quietly takes over. The imbalance builds. The bar covers for it. You don't find out your weak side ends up looking like a certain cartoon coyote after a bad day: flattened, smoking, holding a sign that says "ouch."

The Anvil Handles fix that.

Two independent handles: one for each hand, each doing its own honest work. Mount them to the BYOB Smith attachment and each one rides the rail independently on commercial-grade linear bearings. Every rep is honestly left and honestly right. An anvil you’ll actually want to see coming at you.

Press, row, go unilateral and load up to 220 LBS / 100 KG PER HANDLE (440 LBS / 200 KG across the pair). Iso-lateral. Not itty-bitty.

On the Smith, the travel is buttery smooth rep after rep, and each handle's built-in hook means you rack and unrack from the top, just like a real bar, instead of starting every set from the bottom like you're emerging from a squat you didn't plan.

FOUR WAYS TO GET ANVIL'D.

  • Already own the BYOB Smith attachment? Add the Anvil Handles, swap the bar, upgrade your life.
  • Starting from scratch? Grab the Smith + Handles set. Rails, guided motion, and the iso-lateral toolkit in one shot.
  • Have a Smith with the built-in bar? There's a conversion kit for that. Your bar had a good run. It’s time for an upgrade.
  • Just here for the handles? You're already in the right place. Use them on the rails, off the rails for some weird forearm workout, or whatever you have in mind (we listen and we don’t judge).

The Hydra and Manticore rack families are the natural home for this setup, but the Smith attachment fits most 2.3"–3" uprights, so check your rack before you order.
Not sure where to start? The full Smith Machine collection has the options laid out.

Whatever your path, add to cart and go lift some weight.
IMPORTANT: Switching between Anvil Handles and a straight bar in the BYOB setup takes time, and isn't feasible during most workouts. Plan your training accordingly.
