Annie’s Beet Blend (Beta vulgaris)

A colorful mix including Detroit Dark Red, Detroit Golden, Chioggia, and Cylindra beets. Rich in color, tender in texture and sweet in taste, Annie's hardy beets add nutrition-packed flavor that doesn’t stop at the root. Toss your beet leaves into salads or sautés to get the most of these multi-purpose heirlooms.

• 200 seeds minimum
• Germination: 5-10 days
• Maturity: 50 days
• Direct sow ½” deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked.
• Sow 12-15 seeds per foot; thin to 3" apart when seedlings are 1-2" tall. Plant rows 12" apart.
• Plant again in late summer for a fall harvest.
