Adjustable base: Most adjustable bases work with this bed, but the base needs to be zero clearance to sit on the drawer unit. The base sits on the drawer unit, so it usually adds 4-6" to the height of your mattress. Measure how high the top of your current mattress is off the floor to see what is comfortable. We can build the drawer unit lower on request, but that makes the drawers shallower.
