Amish Avignon Platform Drawer Captain Storage Bed

The Amish Avignon Platform Drawer Captain Storage Bed brings the storage capacity of a dresser right into your bedroom, with a tall paneled headboard and under-bed drawers built into the platform base. Handcrafted from solid wood, it uses just a mattress, so no box spring is required.

• Dresser-level storage – Under-bed drawers offer as much storage as a dresser
• Dovetailed drawer boxes – Solid oak drawer boxes on oak pieces, maple on maple and cherry pieces, with dovetail joinery
• Soft-close slides – Full-extension soft-close concealed undermount drawer slides
• No box spring needed – Platform design works with just a mattress
• Tall paneled headboard – Headboard rises well above the footboard for a captain look

Adjustable base: Most adjustable bases work with this bed, but the base needs to be zero clearance to sit on the drawer unit. The base sits on the drawer unit, so it usually adds 4-6" to the height of your mattress. Measure how high the top of your current mattress is off the floor to see what is comfortable. We can build the drawer unit lower on request, but that makes the drawers shallower.
