No fertilizer is usually needed and too much nitrogen will create abundant foliage without substantial bloom.
Do not allow plants to dry out during germination or bloom season.
Planting & Growing: To Start Outdoors: Sow seeds in spring, once the danger of frost has passed, in full sun (or partial shade in hot climates).
Poke seeds into well-worked soil about 1" deep and 3 - 4" apart.
Press soil firmly over the seeds and keep moist.
When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to 10" apart as mounding plants need ample room to grow.
