DESCRIPTION:

The side stones on this ring are emerald, princess and round cut diamonds set together, three different outlines along one band. They total 1.75 carats and are G in color and VS in clarity. The emerald cuts are step cut and give broad flat flashes, while the princess and round stones are brilliant cut and scatter light into fine points, so the shoulders produce two kinds of light instead of one.

The center stone is a 2.01 carat princess cut diamond, GIA certified at I color and SI2 clarity, measuring 7.12 by 6.76 by 4.81 mm. Its polish and symmetry are both graded very good, and it shows faint fluorescence. Total diamond weight across the ring is 3.76 carats.

Faint fluorescence means the stone glows slightly under ultraviolet light; at the faint level it is not something you see in ordinary daylight or indoor lighting. I color is near colorless with a trace of warmth, and SI2 means inclusions are not visible to the naked eye. The mounting weighs approximately 5.4 grams in 18K white gold and the ring measures 7 mm, a quarter of an inch, in width.
