18K Solid White Gold Diamond Engagement Ring 1.62 Ctw

DESCRIPTION:

This ring is built around stone quality rather than spread. The center is a GIA certified round brilliant of 1.03 carats graded F in color and VS1 in clarity, prong set in 18K gold. F is inside the colorless D to F band and VS1 means the stone is clean to the naked eye.

Total diamond weight is 1.62 carats, with 0.59 carats split between small round and baguette cut side diamonds. The two cuts alternate along the shoulders, step cut baguettes beside brilliant cut rounds, which gives the sides two different kinds of flash instead of one.

The head measures 7.4 mm across, a quarter of an inch, and the finished ring weighs 4.1 grams. It is a restrained setting by the standards of this collection, and intentionally so: the spend here is in the color and clarity of a certified center stone, not in carat count. Metal color is chosen when the order is placed.
