15W Selectable RAB Round LED Bulkhead Wall Sconce

The Classic Bulkhead Form, Done Right

The RAB BULKH15R is the modern version of a classic. It combines the nautical bulkhead form that's been a staple on working waterfronts and coastal properties for decades with modern, field-selectable LED technology, a 100,000-hour lifespan, and RAB's commercial-grade build quality. The symmetrical round profile suits centered mounting positions over doorways, on square wall surfaces, and anywhere a balanced, formally proportioned fixture is the right architectural choice.

• Classic Nautical Form, Commercial-Grade Build: The characteristic round cage-over-glass silhouette of the traditional maritime bulkhead fixture, updated with discrete surface-mount LEDs, a durable powder coat finish, and RAB's five-year no-compromise warranty. The symmetrical round form suits centered mounting positions and formally arranged outdoor spaces.
• Integrated Protective Grill with Glass Lens: The die-cast aluminum grill protects the glass lens from impact — and the glass lens transmits light more efficiently and clearly than the polycarbonate lenses used in cheaper bulkheads, which yellow and crack over time.
• Selectable Wattage and Color Temperature: Field-select 9W, 12W, or 15W and choose 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K at installation — one SKU covers multiple applications without separate orders.
• L70: 100,000-Hour Lamp Life: At roughly twice the lifespan of many lower-cost bulkheads, this fixture means fewer replacements, fewer labor calls, and lower long-term cost — especially meaningful across large numbers of fixtures on commercial or multi-unit properties.
• 0-10V Dimming: Dims to 10% for integration with standard dimming controls — useful for venues that shift between full-brightness operation and ambient settings across different times of day or evening service.
• UL Wet Location Listed: Rated for exposed outdoor installation in rain, salt air, and high-humidity environments. Tested to -40°F for cold-climate applications.
• Integrated Selectable Photocell: Factory-installed dusk-to-dawn photocell operates automatically without external controls or additional wiring, with a selectable on/off switch for manual override.
• 5-Year RAB Warranty: Full manufacturer coverage on light output, driver performance, and paint finish — purchased through ELEDLights as an authorized RAB dealer.

Ideal Applications

1. Waterfront Restaurants & Outdoor Dining: The classic round cage form suits marina-adjacent and coastal dining environments naturally — durable enough for salt air and rain, attractive enough for a designed outdoor space. Centered mounting over doorways and along dining walls creates a clean, balanced appearance.
2. Marina & Boatyard Facilities: IP65 and UL wet location ratings handle salt air, moisture, and impact exposure — the round form mounts cleanly on square walls and symmetrical architectural surfaces common in marine structures.
3. Resort & Hotel Exteriors: Covered walkways, pool areas, resort pathways, and hotel entry canopies where a classic maritime aesthetic integrates naturally with coastal or traditional architectural styles — 0-10V dimming allows lighting scenes to shift between full brightness and ambient levels.
4. Covered Residential Decks & Outdoor Living Areas: 3000K warm white at lower wattage settings creates comfortable, inviting evening light on covered decks and pergolas — the round form suits centered mounting positions between structural posts.
5. Commercial Building Entrances & Service Doors: Reliable, photocell-automated illumination for building access points where long lamp life and hands-off operation reduce maintenance overhead — round form suits symmetrical mounting above centered doorways.
6. Covered Walkways & Breezeways: IP65 and wet location rating handle exposure in covered but not fully enclosed outdoor corridors — the classic round form suits traditional and transitional architecture, with 0-10V dimming to dial back output during low-traffic periods.
