The side stones outweigh the center on this ring, two to one. A fancy yellow diamond of 0.91 carats sits in the middle, surrounded by small round cut white diamonds totalling 1.85 carats, for 2.76 carats across the whole piece.

That ratio is a deliberate design choice rather than a compromise. A canary center ringed by a wide field of white diamonds reads as a far larger yellow stone than 0.91 carats on its own, because the eye judges the yellow against the colorless stones immediately around it. The whites are graded G, in the near colorless range, and the ring is handcrafted in 14K gold.

Clarity is VS2 throughout, so no inclusions are visible without magnification. The frame measures half an inch in width and the mounting weighs 5 grams. The center color is natural canary, not an induced or treated yellow, and metal color on the 14K gold is selected at order.
