Three stones, no pave. This 14K gold ring carries a princess cut center flanked by two side stones, and 3.20 carats of diamond spread across those three.

A three stone setting puts every carat somewhere it can be seen. With nothing small in the design there is no pave to absorb weight, so the full 3.20 carats reads at a glance, and the 4 gram mounting is kept slight so the metal stays behind the stones rather than beside them. Color across the ring runs E to G and clarity runs SI2 to VS2.

E is in the colorless D to F band and G opens the near colorless range, so there is no warm tint on this piece. The clarity spread is wider and worth understanding: VS1 and VS2 stones are clean to the naked eye, while SI2 carries inclusions a loupe will find and which can occasionally be picked out at close range. Individual carat weights for the center and the two sides are confirmed at the showroom.
